Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Personal Support Worker in Gisborne, Victoria to provide high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that maintains residents’ dignity and independence. You will work with the care team to support daily living activities and wellbeing in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and documentation. Australian working rights are required; NDIS Worker Screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Assist residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintain accurate documentation. Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.
