Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Personal Support Worker in Victoria to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that promotes residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

You will support with personal care, mobility, meals, and health monitoring while working closely with nurses and the wider care team to ensure a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven compassion and ability to support older adults.
• Ability to adapt and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Assist residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team.

About the Role

• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
