Job summary

Arcare Aged Care in Australia is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that preserves residents’ dignity and independence.

You will work within a nursing and care team to perform personal care, mobility support, meal assistance, and maintain accurate documentation with a focus on compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent is required.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour.

About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
