Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing. The role supports a resident-centered approach within Arcare’s network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care settings preferred.
• Ability to work with residents with varying needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Assist residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintain accurate documentation.

About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
