Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional and social care that enhances residents’ dignity and wellbeing.

You will assist with personal care, support mobility and meals, and closely monitor residents’ health. Applicants must have Australian Working Rights and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check. Arcare offers a positive workplace culture and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Assist residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitor health changes and report them.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses and the wider care team.

About The Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
