Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality personal, emotional and social care in a supportive environment. The role focuses on maintaining residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing through compassionate care and teamwork.

The position offers permanent part-time shifts across AM, PM and night periods, with above award rates and opportunities to grow within a trusted national aged care provider.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal, emotional and social care that supports dignity and independence.

• Assist residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitor and report health or behaviour changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with nurses and the care team.

About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
