Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care, enhancing residents’ dignity and wellbeing. The role requires compassionate teamwork and a patient-centered approach within a supportive environment.

Morning shifts Monday to Friday are available, with an emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure consistent, respectful care for residents.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.

About The Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team

What We’re Looking For

• Must be available for morning shifts Monday to Friday
• Passion for aged care and helping others
