Tenterfield Care Centre in NSW is seeking Personal Care Workers for Full-Time and Casual roles to support residents with personal care, mobility and safety during weekday night shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent.
• Experience in providing daily care to clients.
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting.
• NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Available during Christmas and New Year period for Part-Time shifts.
• Passionate about person-centered care.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care in line with resident care plans and needs.
• Assist with mobility, hygiene, continence, and daily activities.
• Support residents with meals, medications, and basic wound care as required.
• Contribute to social and recreational activities and family liaison.
• Complete care documentation and daily progress notes.

The Role

We are offering Full-Time and Casual opportunities for Personal Care Workers to join our beautiful facility based in Tenterfield, NSW. Personal Care Workers contribute to resident comfort and quality of life by providing safe, high-quality care in accordance with each resident's care plan. You’ll provide compassionate care across Millrace and Haddington, supporting residents with personal care, comfort, mobility, and safety during weekday night shifts.

What you will do

• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
• Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors and assisting residents attending activities.
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
• Currently hold and maintain NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Available during the Christmas and New Year period for Part-Time shifts
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
