Job summary

Apollo Care Alliance's Tenterfield Care Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care across our Millrace and Haddington homes. Full-time weekday and weekend night shifts with oversight of overnight care.

You will manage medications, support care staff, and respond to changes in resident condition, upholding Aged Care Quality Standards and a resident-first approach. AHPRA registration and NDIA checks are required.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration is mandatory.
• Night-shift availability required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in providing clinical care in the aged care sector.
• NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain) mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives.
• Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans.
• Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
• Clinical care, including wound management, palliative care, and medication management.
• Liaison with medical and allied health care staff.
• Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during Full-Time weekday and weekend night shifts across our Millrace (36-bed) and Haddington (65-bed) residential aged care homes. Reporting to the Manager, you'll oversee overnight clinical care, respond to changes in resident condition, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.
