Job summary

Qualifications

• Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled)
• NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Experience in aged care settings and daily care responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Personal care in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences
• Clinical care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs
• Social and recreational support for residents and families
• Domestic services including cleaning and serving meals
• Assessment and care planning with progress notes and daily charts

What you will do

The Personal Care Worker Is Responsible For Ensuring

• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
• Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors, and assisting residents attending activities.
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
• Flexible availabilities, we are looking for Casual and Holiday Relief candidates
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
• Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
