Nanyima Aged Care Inc. in Mackay region is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our 51-bed community. This part-time role focuses on person-centered support and daily living assistance aligned with Care Plans.

Casual shifts are also available. You will work with a friendly team, maintain high standards of care and contribute to residents’ wellbeing so they can live their best lives.

Qualifications

Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent.
NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain).
Unlimited working rights in Australia.
Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting.
Passion for delivering a person-centered approach to care.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral/dental care and continence care.
Mobility support including aids and falls prevention.
Eating and drinking, including awareness of dietary requirements.
Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams.

Your Role

We are looking for an experiences and passionate Personal Care Worker working Part-Time and Casual. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive resident experience by providing a person-centered approach to care. You will foster a collaborative approach in supporting our residents with all aspects of their daily needs and emotional wellbeing, essentially creating what we believe will enable older people to live their best lives.

Duties Include

Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
Personal care, including but not limited to: Personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care and continence care.
Mobility, including using aids and falls prevention.
Eating and drinking, including awareness of special dietary requirements.
Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams.
