Job summary

Nanyima Aged Care Community, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is seeking a Care Manager to lead our care team and oversee resident-centred care in our 51-bed home near Mackay.

You will ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, support staff development, and promote a home-like environment. An RN with AHPRA registration and 5+ years in aged care is preferred, with strong leadership and communication skills a must.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in roles such as Clinical Nurse, Care Coordinator, or Care Manager (≥2 years in aged care).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Solid knowledge of Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.

About the Role

As a Care Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care in our lovely home. Reporting to the Residential Service Manager, you will guide and support our care team, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Apollo Care’s model of care.

About You

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse, Care Coordinator, or Care Manager (with at least 2 years in aged care)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.
• A genuine commitment to supporting residents to live their way with dignity and grace
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
