Job summary

Nanyima Aged Care Community in Mackay, Queensland, is seeking a dedicated Care Manager to lead our care team and ensure safe, resident-centred care.

Reporting to the Residential Service Manager, you will oversee care planning, clinical governance and regulatory compliance, guiding staff with compassion and strong leadership.

Join our 51-bed not-for-profit home and help residents live with dignity and grace while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse, Care Coordinator or Care Manager (with at least 2 years in aged care).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.
• Commitment to supporting residents to live with dignity and grace.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Are you a dedicated Care Manager with a passion for leading care teams and supporting older Australians to live with dignity and grace? Nanyima Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Manager to join our team.

Our 51 bed facility boasts a fantastic culture, excellent operational performance, and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care.

About the Role

As a Care Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care in our lovely home. Reporting to the Residential Service Manager, you will guide and support our care team, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Apollo Care’s model of care.

Key Responsibilities
