Job summary

Bundaleer Care Services is recruiting casual Personal Care Workers to support residents in our Wauchope aged care facility. We offer both casual and permanent roles with flexible hours and arrangements.

We value a person-centered approach, safety and quality, and a collaborative team culture. Weekend and night shifts are available with various benefits and development programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
• Experience in daily care and activities for residents.
• Passion for person-centered care and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in line with each resident's needs and preferences.
• Assist with medication support, basic dressings and vital sign checks.
• Support social activities and family/visitor engagement.
• Assist with meals, cleaning and daily charts/documentation.

What you will do
The Personal Care Workeris responsible forensuring:

• Personal care is providedin accordance witheach resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
• Social and recreational support such asassistingresidents' family andvisitors, andassistingresidents attending activities.
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
• Unlimited working rights, we do not offer sponsorship
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
• Currently hold and maintainan NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centeredapproach to care
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
