Job summary

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is seeking a Part-time Personal Care Worker/Assistant in Nursing for our 135-bed Blue Haven home in Kiama, NSW. You will assist residents with daily living activities and contribute to a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Personal Care Worker / Assistant in Nursing in residential aged care.
• Motivated, flexible, reliable and willing to work a variety of shifts.
• Personable, respectful, and with strong communication and customer service skills.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain).
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Develop positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service to create a pleasant home environment.
• Complete comprehensive progress notes reflecting residents’ care.
• Collaborate with Nurses and other staff to deliver holistic, person-centred care.

The exciting opportunity

• Part-time role with morning, afternoon and night shifts available
• Assist residents with activities of daily living at our beautiful 135-bed Blue Haven aged care home in Kiama
• Develop positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service to facilitate a pleasant home environment
• Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect residents’ care
• Collaborate with Nurses and other staff to deliver holistic, person-centred care
