Job summary

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is seeking a Casual Support Worker to visit elderly clients in their homes across St George and Sutherland. You will develop rapport, provide day-to-day assistance, accompany outings, and support personal care and meals, while maintaining thorough progress notes.

Flexibility with day shifts on weekdays and weekends, with potential for permanent part-time as the service grows, and access to ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Community-based elderly care support worker.
• Valid overseas or unrestricted Australian driver's license and a reliable car.
• Motivated, compassionate, autonomous, strong communication, able to develop rapport with clients and families.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willing to obtain.
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered).

• Travel to elderly clients who live at home in the St George and Sutherland areas.
• Develop positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with day-to-day activities such as outings, personal care, meals and domestic assistance.
• Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect client’s care.

About you

• Experience as a Support Worker, providing care to the elderly in the community
• Valid overseas or unrestricted Australian driver's licence, a reliable car and willing to drive to people’s homes in the community to provide support and care
• Motivated, compassionate, confident working autonomously, excellent communication skills, and able to develop rapport with clients and their families
