Job summary

Churches Of Christ is seeking a Personal Care Worker for a casual position in Mitchelton, QLD. You will provide personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily living tasks while working closely with our care team to ensure residents receive compassionate, dignity-centred care.

You’ll contribute to reviewing care plans, observing changes, and assisting Registered Nurses. Flexible shifts include AM, PM, night and public holidays while supporting a not-for-profit, faith-based

Qualifications

• Passionate about providing safe, supportive care in aged care settings.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care is required.
• Experience as a Personal Care Worker in residential aged care is preferred.
• Flexible and able to work AM, PM, Night and public holidays.
• Hold valid Australian work rights; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with daily living: mobility, meals, social outings and clinical care.
• Review care plans, report and observe changes in residents' condition.
• Maintain dignity and privacy for all residents.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents and work alongside our care team.

• Provide personal care and emotional support to residents
• Assist with daily living: mobility, meals, social outings and clinical care

About You

• Passionate about Aged Care and providing safe supportive care to the residents.
• Currently holds a Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Individual Support/ Aged Care.
• Experienced as a Personal Care Worker in Residential Aged Care.
• Flexible and able to do shifts including AM, PM, Night & Public holidays.
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor.
