Queensland Country Bank is seeking a Personal Banking Consultant to join our Mackay Region branch network. This full-time role focuses on delivering personalised service, identifying customer needs and promoting our products to help Members achieve their financial goals.

You will work across our Canelands and Mount Pleasant branches with a collaborative team, strong culture and commitment to work-life balance and professional development.

Qualifications

Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Cash handling experience with accuracy and integrity.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
High attention to detail in everyday banking tasks.
Ability to quickly build rapport and work collaboratively with teammates.
Experience in the finance industry is desirable.

Responsabilités

Deliver personalised service to Members and identify individual needs.
Guide Members to successful outcomes by problem solving and promoting products/services.
Promote the Bank’s products and services to support financial goals.
Collaborate with branch team to ensure seamless service across Canelands and Mount Pleasant branches.

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and skilled team player to join our friendly and supportive branch in the Mackay Region. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the finance industry who has a genuine passion for helping people and contributing positively to a team environment where collaboration and trust are valued.

As a Personal Banking Consultant, your primary objective will be to deliver an exceptional level of personalised service to Members. You will guide Members to successful outcomes by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services. If you already have experience in banking, this role provides a great opportunity to further develop your skills within a close‑knit team that values shared success, work‑life balance and professional growth.

This is a full‑time position based on a 38‑hour work week. The successful applicant will be required to work across our Canelands and Mount Pleasant branches as required, with the support of a strong team culture at the heart of everything we do.
