Job summary

Queensland Country Bank is seeking a Personal Banking Consultant for its Weipa Branch. You will assist Members with their banking needs, offer tailored financial solutions, and help them achieve their financial goals while building strong relationships and delivering high-quality customer service.

The role is full-time (38 hours/week) in a busy, supportive branch with on-the-job training and a clear path to advancement.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Personal Banking Consultant to join our Weipa Branch.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, providing great customer service, and is interested in building a career in the financial services industry. You will be part of a busy and supportive branch where no two days are the same.

As a Personal Banking Consultant, you will help Members with their banking needs, provide tailored solutions, and assist them in achieving their financial goals. You will build strong relationships, solve problems, and promote products and services that add value to our members. You will also receive training and support to confidently manage a high volume of cash transactions.

This role is full-time based on a 38 hour work week. No weekend work required.

About You

• Demonstrated sales experience and strong cash handling experience
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change
• Demonstrated ability to be resilient in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
• Experience in the Finance industry (desirable but not essential)
