Job summary

Queensland Country Bank is seeking a dedicated Personal Banking Consultant to join the Weipa Branch on a full-time basis. You will help Members with their banking needs, provide tailored solutions, and support them to achieve financial goals.

This role focuses on building relationships, solving problems, and promoting bank products. Training is provided to confidently manage a high volume of cash transactions.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and cash handling experience are preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to be resilient in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly build rapport and work as a team member.
• Experience in the Finance industry is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members with their banking needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Help Members achieve their financial goals and build strong relationships.
• Promote banking products and services that add value to members.
• Handle a high volume of cash transactions with training and support from the branch.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Personal Banking Consultant to join our Weipa Branch.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, providing great customer service, and is interested in building a career in the financial services industry. You will be part of a busy and supportive branch where no two days are the same.

As a Personal Banking Consultant, you will help Members with their banking needs, provide tailored solutions, and assist them in achieving their financial goals. You will build strong relationships, solve problems, and promote products and services that add value to our members. You will also receive training and support to confidently manage a high volume of cash transactions.

This role is full-time based on a 38 hour work week. No weekend work required.

About You

• Demonstrated sales experience and strong cash handling experience
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional communication & customer service skills

• Demonstrated ability to be resilient in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
• Experience in the Finance industry (desirable but not essential)
