Job summary

Queensland Country Group in Bowen is seeking a Personal Banking Consultant to deliver an exceptional level of personalised service. You will identify customer needs, solve problems, and proactively promote our products and services to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Two roles are available: a full-time 38-hour week and a part-time 20-hour week. The successful applicant may be asked to work at any Bowen branch as required, backed by strong team support and comprehensive training.

About The Role

We are seeking a friendly and genuine team player to join our Bowen branch team as our Personal Banking Consultant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the finance industry or who is seeking a good work/life balance.

As a Personal Banking Consultant your main objective will be to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to customers and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services.

We are currently have two positions available, a full-time role based on a 38-hour work week and a part-time role based on a 20-hour work week. Please specify your preferred role in your application. The successful applicant will also be willing to work at any branch within the Bowen region as required.

About You

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrated sales experience
• Cash handling experience
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
• A demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change
• Experience in the Finance industry (desirable)
