Job summary

Queensland Country Bank is seeking a friendly Personal Banking Consultant for the Bowen branch. You will deliver personalised service, identify customer needs and guide them to successful outcomes while promoting banking products.

The role offers a 38-hour full‑time or a 20-hour part‑time week, with opportunities for training, development and cross‑branch work in the Bowen region.

Qualifications

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated sales experience.
Cash handling experience.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member.
Ability to positively adapt to change.
Experience in the Finance industry (desirable).

About The Role

We are seeking a friendly and genuine team player to join our Bowen branch team as our Personal Banking Consultant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the finance industry or who is seeking a good work/life balance.

As a Personal Banking Consultant your main objective will be to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to customers and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services.

We are currently have two positions available, a full-time role based on a 38-hour work week and a part-time role based on a 20-hour work week. Please specify your preferred role in your application. The successful applicant will also be willing to work at any branch within the Bowen region as required.

About You
