Job summary

Centurion is seeking a detail-oriented Permits Administrator to join our Heavy Haulage team at the Richlands depot on a full-time basis. You will coordinate permits, approvals and route requirements for oversize and over mass movements, working closely with our Operations team to keep freight compliant and on schedule.

In this fast-paced logistics environment, accuracy, proactive problem solving and strong stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

Strong organisational, planning and computer skills.
High attention to detail and accurate data entry.
Effective time management and the ability to prioritise workloads.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and thinking outside the box.
The ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate permits and approvals with state and local government authorities.
Ensure all oversize movements have the correct permits in place before departure.
Work closely with Operations to plan and coordinate permitted movements.
Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, employees and subcontractors.
Review planned routes for roadworks, closures, restrictions and traffic impacts.
Arrange police escorts, high-load escorts and other third-party service providers.
Maintain accurate records and ensure permit requirements meet legislative and operational standards.
