Job summary

Journey Early Learning North Mackay is seeking a Permanent Educator who is Diploma-qualified and passionate about delivering meaningful, play-based learning. You will support children's development, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to high-quality education aligned with EYLF and NQS.

Collaborate with a supportive team to plan, document and reflect on learning to continuously improve practice.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain one) is required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications as needed.
• Knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standard (NQS).
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

About the Role

As a Permanent Educator, you’ll play an important role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, play-based experiences.

Working alongside a collaborative team, you’ll help create an environment where children feel a sense of belonging, families feel connected and educators are encouraged to share ideas and grow.

In this role, you will:

About You

You’re a caring and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about children’s learning and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

You’ll bring:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• A current Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, as required.
