Job summary

Journey Early Learning is seeking a passionate Permanent Educator (Part-Time) at the 61-place Banyo centre. The role focuses on creating engaging, EYLF-aligned learning experiences and building strong relationships with children and families.

You will contribute to observations and planning, work closely with the Lead Educator, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment while supporting ongoing career growth through Journey Academy and professional development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Experience in EYLF or learning through play is a plus.

Responsibilities

Our 61-place Banyo centre is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate Certificate III or Diploma-qualified Educator to join our team.

You’ll create engaging learning experiences, build meaningful relationships with children and families, and be part of a collaborative team where your ideas are valued and you’re supported to continue growing your career.

Permanent Part-Time | Monday to Friday

About the Role

As a Permanent Educator, you’ll:

• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
• Contribute to observations, planning and Storypark documentation
• Work collaboratively with your Lead Educator and wider team
• Contribute your ideas to learning environments and experiences
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment

About You

You’re a warm, reliable and passionate educator who enjoys being part of a team and making a positive difference in children’s everyday experiences.

You’ll bring:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• A genuine passion for children’s learning and development
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive and collaborative approach
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Completed National Child Safety Training
