Job summary

Journey Early Learning Carseldine is seeking a Permanent Educator who will support children’s learning and wellbeing through play-based experiences in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will work with a collaborative team to create meaningful learning experiences, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to observations, documentation and educational programs while aligning practice with EYLF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications are required.
• Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standard (NQS).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Commitment to safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
• National Child Safety training (Foundation Module) or willingness to complete it.

About the Role

As a Permanent Educator, you’ll support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, play-based experiences in a safe and inclusive environment.

Working alongside your team, you’ll help create a place where children feel a sense of belonging, families feel connected and educators are encouraged to share ideas and learn from one another.

In this role, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families.
