Job summary

Journey Early Learning Fernvale is seeking a warm Permanent Educator to support children’s learning and development in a close-knit, community-focused centre. This part-time position runs Monday to Friday, offering ongoing training and mentoring within a nurturing team.

You will build strong relationships with children and families, contribute to planning, observations and daily routines, and ensure high standards of care and safety in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates or willingness to obtain are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support engaging, play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Create safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environments.
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Contribute to observations, planning and documentation.

Permanent Educator | Fernvale

About the Role

We’re looking for a warm, dedicated and reliable Permanent Educator to join our team at Journey Early Learning Fernvale.

In this role, you’ll support children across their learning and development, creating engaging, play-based experiences where they can build confidence, explore their interests and feel a strong sense of belonging.

You’ll build meaningful relationships with children and families, contribute to daily routines and learning experiences, and work alongside a supportive team within our close-knit, community-focused centre.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity, across Monday to Friday.
