Job summary

Journey Early Learning North Mackay is seeking a Diploma-qualified Educator to join our caring team. You will deliver engaging, play-based learning while supporting each child's development and wellbeing in a safe, inclusive environment.

You'll work with a collaborative team, share ideas, and contribute to observations and educational programs. Our centre supports ongoing professional growth and values your passion for quality early learning.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Blue Card (or eligibility) required.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications current.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Commitment to safe, inclusive learning environments.

About The Role

As a Permanent Educator, you’ll play an important role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, play-based experiences.

Working alongside a collaborative team, you’ll help create an environment where children feel a sense of belonging, families feel connected and educators are encouraged to share ideas and grow.

You’re a caring and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about children’s learning and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

You’ll Bring

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• A current Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, as required.
• Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standard.
• Confidence building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• A commitment to safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
• A willingness to reflect, learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
• National Child Safety (Foundation Module) training, or willingness to complete it.
