Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is seeking a People Systems Data Analyst to support auditing of HR data in Workday, coach users, and resolve data discrepancies. You will help align data across Workday and payroll systems, build basic Workday reports, and contribute to training materials and stakeholder workshops.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years’ HR or HRIS data experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to learning Workday and data processes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years’ experience with HR, payroll or HRIS data; Workday preferred.
• Strong Excel skills for structured data analysis.
• Attention to data quality and accuracy.
• Ability to follow established processes and work with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support users of the People Systems auditing tool, explaining audit findings and actions.
• Coach HR, Payroll and business users on audits and resolving exceptions.
• Investigate data exceptions and identify root causes.
• Guide Workday corrections using business processes or apply corrections where allowed.
• Support bulk data corrections, testing and approvals under senior guidance.
• Align data across Workday, local payroll systems and Core by identifying corrections needed.
• Build and maintain basic Workday reports to support auditing and validation.
• Identify recurring data quality trends to improve processes and training.
• Support validation and regression testing for Workday releases and changes, logging defects.
• Create and maintain user guides, job aids, FAQs and knowledge resources.
• Build relationships with HR, GPS, payroll and stakeholders; contribute to workshops and requirements-gathering.
