Job summary

Upward Living is seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support across HR, acting as the first contact for the P&C team. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee records, while ensuring compliance and data accuracy in UKG.

Your role includes coordinating training, handling HR queries, maintaining HRIS processes, and supporting engagement programs to uphold a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NSW Working with Children Check.
• Police Clearance.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• 2+ years as HR Coordinator or similar.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding; manage contracts and probation reviews in UKG.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate mandatory and role-specific training with internal or external providers.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR inbox; triage and respond to queries; escalate as needed.
• Lead HRIS activities in UKG; design workflows and maintain data accuracy.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and pulse surveys.
• Support HR policy implementation and update stakeholders on SCHADS and legislation.
• Assist ER with documentation and case tracking.
