Job summary

APG Workforce is seeking a Time & Attendance Officer to join an onsite payroll team in Beresfield. The role supports a 24/7 poultry production environment with a strong focus on accurate timekeeping, data quality and timely payroll processing.

Ideal candidates have Kronos/timekeeping experience, a valid driver’s license, and a reliable, detail‑oriented mindset to ensure accurate hours and entitlements are paid in accordance with Enterprise Agreements and Awards.

Qualifications

• Timekeeping experience required; Kronos experience advantageous.
• Current driver’s license and own reliable transport.
• 100% reliability and punctuality.
• Knowledge of Time and Attendance systems.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and Award governance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly timesheets and Kronos reports for payroll processing.
• Process Time & Attendance change requests.
• Manage T&A queries and employee data issues.
• Investigate and rectify T&A data discrepancies.
• Interpret Awards/Enterprise Agreements to ensure correct pay.
• Prepare manual time/attendance adjustments, including leave payments.
• Respond to T&A enquiries promptly and escalate when needed.
• Assist supervisors/managers with Kronos system training.

APG Workforce are currently seeking a Time & Attendance Officer to join an onsite payroll team in Beresfield.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of poultry products, with 2 facilities that work 24/7 and employ over 500 staff members working across varied shifts!
This busy, thriving environment would ideally suit someone who has experience in payroll/finance, has great attention to detail and can hit the ground running.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of weekly timesheets, including Kronos manipulations and running Kronos reports for the business to allow the approval of the timesheets to meet payroll processing.
• Processing change requests resulting from business in relation to Time and Attendance
• Managing T&A queries, supporting the site with any issues regarding hours worked and other employee data
• Investigating and rectifying any T&A data discrepancies
• Interpreting awards and Enterprise Agreements to ensure that employees are paid correctly.
• Preparation of manual time and attendance adjustments, including allowances and leave payments.
• Act as a point of contact and respond to T&A enquiries in a timely and accurate manner, escalating matters as required.
• Assist with training Supervisors and Managers on how to better utilise the Kronos System
