Job summary

CBH is seeking a Manager - Payroll to lead a three-person payroll team within the People and Culture function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll services across enterprise agreements and contracts.

You will partner with HR, employee relations, finance and operations to support consistent interpretation of terms and improve payroll processes; experience with SAP/SuccessFactors and UKG/Kronos is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Significant end-to-end payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Previous payroll leadership experience, including coaching and developing team members.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, including taxation, superannuation, employment legislation and industrial instruments.
• Ability to work across complex payroll environments, including enterprise agreements and varied employee groups.
• Experience with SAP / SuccessFactors and UKG / Kronos Workforce Dimensions would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the payroll team to deliver accurate, timely and compliant payroll services.
• Oversee one weekly payroll cycle across 10 enterprise agreements, common law contracts and relevant legislation.
• Partner with Employee Relations and business stakeholders to ensure consistent interpretation of employment terms.
• Maintain strong payroll governance through audit controls, procedures, work instructions and reporting.
• Encourage continuous improvement across payroll processes, systems and service delivery.
