Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a Payroll Services Lead to join the Payroll team on a full-time basis. This senior role leads the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant payroll services, reporting to the Manager, Payroll Services.

The successful candidate will drive system enhancements across Kronos, SAP and SuccessFactors, interpret EBAs and legislation, and coach staff while partnering with managers, People & Culture, Finance, regional partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Extensive payroll experience in large multi-EBA environments.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance and governance.
• Experience interpreting EBAs and awards.
• Proficiency with payroll and HR systems and vendor support.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior payroll expertise and operational leadership to ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll service delivery.
• Interpret EBAs, legislation, policies and procedures.
• Lead payroll compliance, reconciliation, audit and governance activities to maintain high standards of accuracy and control.
• Drive payroll system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives across systems including Kronos, SAP and SuccessFactors.
• Coach, mentor and support payroll staff while contributing to workforce capability, training and knowledge sharing.
• Build strong relationships with managers, employees, People & Culture, Finance teams, regional partners and external vendors to support effective payroll service delivery.
