Job summary

CBH Group in Western Australia is seeking a Manager - Payroll to lead a team of three and ensure payroll processes are accurate, timely and compliant across the business. You will collaborate with HR, Employee Relations, finance and operations to support consistent interpretation of terms.

This role values continuous improvement, strong relationships and excellent payroll governance, delivering clear reporting and easy-to-understand payroll for employees and leaders.

Qualifications

• Significant end-to-end payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Leadership experience coaching and developing team members.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance including taxation and superannuation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the payroll team to deliver accurate, timely and compliant payroll services.
• Oversee one weekly payroll cycle across 10 enterprise agreements, common law contracts and relevant legislation.
• Partner with Employee Relations and business stakeholders to support consistent interpretation and application of employment terms.
• Maintain strong payroll governance through audit controls, procedures, work instructions and accurate reporting.
• Encourage continuous improvement across payroll processes, systems and service delivery.
