Job summary

Peoplecorp HR Recruitment Specialists partners with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the end-to-end payroll function in Sydney on a 12-month FTC. You will oversee fortnightly payroll, ensure accuracy and compliance with legislation and awards, manage a small team, and collaborate with People & Culture and key stakeholders to drive governance, automation and continuous improvement. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering end-to-end payroll in complex environments.
• Experience leading a small payroll team and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Dayforce experience is preferred.

Job description

We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality, compliant and customer-focused payroll function. This is a highly professional organisation that is currently going through a period of transformation so requires a Payroll Manager to join the team on a 12 month FTC.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT.

THE ROLE

This is a key leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of fortnightly payroll services, ensuring payroll is accurate, timely and compliant with all relevant legislation, Enterprise Agreements, Awards and internal policies.

The role will lead a small team and work closely with the broader People & Culture function and key business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, strengthen governance and identify opportunities to simplify, automate and continuously improve payroll processes.

THE CRITERIA

You will be an experienced Payroll Manager with a strong understanding of complex payroll environments and the ability to balance operational delivery with compliance, risk and continuous improvement. Ideally you will have experience using Dayforce.

An immediate start would be ideal for this role.
