Job summary

Workcontrol Operations Pty Ltd in Bathurst, NSW, is seeking an experienced Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join our finance team on a permanent full-time basis. You will support day-to-day payroll processing, supplier invoicing, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks under the guidance of the Accounts & Finance Manager.

The role requires at least 2 years in payroll/accounts administration, strong knowledge of Xero, and familiarity with Employment Hero or KeyPay is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in payroll and accounts administration (essential).
• Experience with Xero accounting software.
• Understanding of payroll legislation and superannuation.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing with confidentiality and compliance.
• Accounts payable and receivable processing, reconciliations, reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end tasks.
• General accounting and admin support as required.
