Succeed Consultancy is a dynamic and growing firm providing business management, finance and consultancy services to early childhood education providers across NSW and ACT. We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Part Time Bookkeeper & Payroll Officer to work Monday to Wednesday.

The role offers payroll focus, training and long-term growth within a supportive team. You will process weekly and fortnightly payrolls, handle payroll tax, superannuation and WorkCover, and manage AP/AR,

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping with exposure to end-to-end payroll.
• Proficient in MYOB and/or Xero.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
• Assist with payroll tax, superannuation and WorkCover requirements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Process journals and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations.
• Support the Accounts Manager with general finance administration.
• Collaborate with finance and consultancy teams to ensure smooth operations.

Succeed Consultancy is a dynamic and growing company providing business management, finance and consultancy services to early childhood education providers across NSW and ACT.

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper & Payroll Officer Monday to Wednesday.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with bookkeeping experience who enjoys payroll and is looking for a long-term career with a supportive and growing organisation.

Working closely with our experienced Accounts Manager, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day finance operations while receiving ongoing training and mentoring. Payroll is a significant part of this role, so previous end-to-end payroll experience is highly regarded, however we are happy to provide training to the right person.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing weekly and fortnightly payrolls

Assisting with payroll tax, superannuation and WorkCover requirements

Managing accounts payable and receivable

Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations

Processing journals and maintaining accurate financial records

Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations

Supporting the Accounts Manager with general finance administration

Working collaboratively with our finance and consultancy teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in a bookkeeping role with exposure to end-to-end payroll

Experience using MYOB and/or Xero

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Strong organisational and time management skills

The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

The ability to work independently while also enjoying being part of a collaborative team

Desirable but not essential:

Experience within the childcare or education sector

Experience with Kinderm8 or OWNA
