Job summary

Metro South Health invites applications for a Patient Transport administrator to coordinate non-urgent transport bookings and support the Patient Flow Program. The role emphasizes accurate data management, KPI monitoring, and seamless collaboration with nursing leadership to ensure timely, quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will be organised, proactive, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and experience with RaFT and hospital databases.

Qualifications

• High-level computer and data management skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transport bookings and liaise with the Nurse Manager to support timely service delivery.
• Provide administrative and reporting support including data analysis and KPI monitoring to support operational performance.
• Assist with invoice reconciliation and arrangements for interstate and international patient transfers.
• Coordinate meetings, maintain records, troubleshoot the RaFT transport system and assist with projects.
