Job summary

St John WA is seeking a Transport Services Coordinator to join our Patient & Community Transport Services (PaCTS) team on a permanent, full-time basis (part-time for the right candidate). The role involves coordinating patient transport bookings, handling high-volume calls, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will manage bookings in our dispatch system, provide accurate PaCTS information, promote services, and work Monday to Friday on 8-hour shifts between 6:00

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume call-centre environment.
• Previous sales and customer experience.
• Familiarity with WA health system (desirable).
• Proficiency with corporate information systems and MS Office at an intermediate level.
• Strong organisation, detail orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload within service delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient transport bookings by phone and online.
• Enter and maintain booking information for dispatch.
• Provide accurate information about PaCTS services.
• Respond promptly to calls and prioritise bookings.
• Promote PaCTS services to customers to grow transport volumes.
• Support KPIs and sales targets with exceptional customer service.
