Laverty Pathology, part of the Healius Pathology Network, is hiring a Pathology Collector for a permanent part-time role (20 hours/week) in NSW. You will collect blood samples and pathology specimens, assist with diagnostic tests, and ensure accurate records and patient experience.

Training is provided internally, with flexible shifts to cover Tue–Thu and Sun 7:30am–12:00pm. Experience in pathology collection is preferred, but healthcare or customer-service backgrounds are welcome.

Qualificações

• Experience in patient-facing roles or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and manage waiting area.
• Perform venepuncture and collect pathology specimens.
• Conduct diagnostic tests as required (ECGs, BP monitoring, Holter).
• Maintain patient records and specimen registers.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport to laboratories.
• Manage patient communications and payments when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
