Laverty Pathology is recruiting a Pathology Collector in Moree for a permanent part-time role (30 hours/week). Schedule is Monday to Friday 7am–1pm, with training provided.

You will interact with patients, collect samples and perform basic diagnostic tasks, supporting clinicians and quality procedures within a leading healthcare network. Applicants with pathology collection experience or healthcare/customer service backgrounds are encouraged to apply, with Certificate III in Pathology Collection

Qualificações

• Previous pathology collection experience is highly regarded.
• Background in healthcare, aged care, disability support or customer service is welcome.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients, manage waiting area and explain collection procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and collect pathology specimens.
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as ECGs and blood pressure monitoring as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and specimen registers.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport to laboratories.
• Manage patient communications and handle payments when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, professional collection environment.
