Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Pastry Chef to join the team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. You will showcase passion and creativity in pastries and desserts, delivering top-tier menu planning and design to life in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Prepare high-quality pastries, support premium dining and event catering, and uphold HACCP hygiene and safety standards while maintaining a calm, high-standard service mindset.

• Pastry experience in a professional kitchen (events, hotels, catering, or high-volume service is ideal)
• A trade qualification in Patisserie (or equivalent practical experience)

• Prepare and present high-quality pastries and desserts in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Support service across premium dining areas and event catering, maintaining consistency under pressure
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices, including working in line with HACCP principles
• Assist with prep, stock rotation, and keeping your section organised and service-ready
• Contribute to a team culture built on clear communication, calm service, and high standards

What will you do?

More About You

• Pastry experience in a professional kitchen (events, hotels, catering, or high-volume service is ideal)
• A trade qualification in Patisserie (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, consistent presentation
• Confidence working to tight timeframes, with a steady approach during peak service
• A team-first mindset and willingness to jump in where needed
• Ability to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day-a-week roster
