Job summary

WesTrac is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Supervisor to lead our onsite Parts operation at Cadia Mine, near Bathurst, NSW. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will manage the onsite Parts Department, ensuring parts availability, efficient inventory control and exceptional customer service in a mine environment.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Parts Interpreter, Parts Team Leader or Parts Supervisor to advance leadership in mining, while enjoying the Central West

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within parts, warehousing, mining, construction or heavy equipment industries.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in parts sales, parts interpreting or product support operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment components, inventory management and customer support.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build capability and drive performance outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift Licence and Caterpillar, mining or DBS systems experience highly regarded.

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Parts team.
• Oversee daily Parts Department operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy and service excellence.
• Drive exceptional customer service through effective parts interpreting and issue resolution.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, transfers and deliveries to maximise parts availability.
• Collaborate with Service and Operations teams to support customer and business requirements.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the onsite Parts Department, ensuring parts availability, efficient inventory control, exceptional customer service, and strong leadership of a high-performing team. Working directly within the mine environment, you will play a critical role in supporting equipment reliability and minimising downtime for mining operations.
