WesTrac Cadia Mine in NSW is seeking an experienced Parts Supervisor to lead the onsite Parts operation near Bathurst. You will manage the day-to-day Parts Department, ensuring availability, inventory control and top service while guiding a high-performing team in a mine environment.

The role focuses on equipment reliability, uptime, and strong leadership within a large Cat dealer network, offering development opportunities and extensive onsite benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a parts team within mining, warehousing or heavy equipment.
• Minimum 5 years in parts sales, interpreting or product support operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment components and inventory control.

WesTrac is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Supervisor to lead our onsite Parts operation at Cadia Mine, supporting one of Australia’s premier gold mining operations near Bathurst, NSW.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the onsite Parts Department, ensuring parts availability, efficient inventory control, exceptional customer service, and strong leadership of a high-performing team. Working directly within the mine environment, you will play a critical role in supporting equipment reliability and minimising downtime for mining operations.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Parts Interpreter, Parts Team Leader or Parts Supervisor looking to advance their leadership career in a dynamic mining environment while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of the Central West region. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Parts team.
• Oversee daily Parts Department operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy and service excellence.
• Drive exceptional customer service through effective parts interpreting and issue resolution.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, transfers and deliveries to maximise parts availability.
• Collaborate with Service and Operations teams to support customer and business requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and profitability.

Skills and Experience

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within parts, warehousing, mining, construction or heavy equipment industries.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in parts sales, parts interpreting or product support operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment components, inventory management and customer support.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build capability and drive performance outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift Licence and Caterpillar, mining or DBS systems experience highly regarded.
