Job summary

WesTrac Cadia Mine is seeking an experienced Parts Supervisor to lead the onsite Parts operation, ensuring parts availability, strong inventory control and exceptional customer service. You will manage a high-performing team within the mine environment and partner with Service and Operations to support reliability and uptime.

The role requires at least 5 years in parts sales/interpreting, leadership experience and knowledge of heavy equipment components.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within parts, warehousing, mining, construction or heavy equipment industries.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in parts sales, parts interpreting or product support operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment components, inventory management and customer support.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build capability and drive performance outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift Licence and Caterpillar, mining or DBS systems experience highly regarded.

About the Opportunity

WesTrac is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Supervisor to lead our onsite Parts operation at Cadia Mine, supporting one of Australia's premier gold mining operations near Bathurst, NSW.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the onsite Parts Department, ensuring parts availability, efficient inventory control, exceptional customer service, and strong leadership of a high-performing team. Working directly within the mine environment, you will play a critical role in supporting equipment reliability and minimising downtime for mining operations.
