Job summary

Truckline in Brendale, QLD is seeking a Parts Interpreter who will be the first contact for customers, identifying the right parts and offering expert support to keep heavy vehicles on the road.

You will work with customers, suppliers and warehouse teams to deliver outstanding service, manage orders and quotations, and build strong relationships while supporting branch targets. This role suits someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork.

Qualifications

We're currently looking for a customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our team in Brendale, QLD.

Job Description

As a Parts Interpreter, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping identify the right parts and providing expert support to keep commercial vehicles on the road.

You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, warehouse teams and colleagues to deliver outstanding service while contributing to the success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and identify heavy vehicle parts requirements
• Provide exceptional service to trade, fleet and workshop customers
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare quotations and proactively follow up opportunities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Work closely with warehouse and branch teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
• Respond to inventory enquiries and stock availability requests
• Contribute to achieving branch sales and service targets
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in delivering great service, and thrives in a team environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous Parts Interpreting experience within automotive, truck, commercial vehicle or related industries (highly regarded)
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Good computer and administration skills
• A current driver's licence
• Mechanical aptitude or an interest in vehicles and transport
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
