Job summary

WesTrac in Tamworth, NSW, is seeking a Parts Representative for a full-time role at our Tamworth branch. You will work 10.5-hour shifts on a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, supporting the parts department through warehousing, stocktakes, and dispatch.

Key tasks include handling forklift duties, assisting customers, and ensuring accurate parts matching to customer needs. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and valid licence (C) preferred.
• Experience in warehousing and CAT product familiarity is desirable.
• Interest in mechanical and industrial products is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic internet-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift for loading/unloading and stock control.
• Serve as first contact for inbound calls and parts orders.
• Interpret parts to meet customer needs.
• Engage with customers to fulfill post-purchase needs.
• Participate in regular stocktakes and warehousing duties.
• Assist with picking, packing and dispatching parts.

About The Opportunity
WesTrac is seeking a Parts Representative to join their team on a fulltime basis at our Tamworth branch. The successful candidate will work a 10.5-hour shift on a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional Saturday shifts, and is available on either day shift or afternoon shift.

The Parts Representative will provide high-quality customer support, including helpful advisory services to external stakeholders. This role will require the drive to fulfil customer requirements in a timely manner, whilst operating in a fast-paced position. The successful candidate will support efficient and effective operation of the parts department through functions such as general warehousing, dispatching of parts, stocktaking, housekeeping and identification of continuous improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift to perform duties such as loading and unloading
• Act as the first point of contact for inbound call management and customers ordering parts
• Interpret parts to understand what will suit the customer's needs
• Engage with customers to ensure enquiries and their post purchase needs are met
• Participate in regular stocktakes
• Assist in general warehousing duties including picking, packing and dispatching parts
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Forklift and drivers licence C desirable
• Experience in warehousing & familiarity with CAT products desirable
• Interest in mechanical and industrial products desirable
• Strong customer service skills & dedication to customer service
• Intermediate computer literacy skills- MS Office & internet-based applications
