Job summary

WesTrac is seeking a Parts Representative to join our Tamworth team on a full-time basis. The role operates a 10.5-hour shift on a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional Saturday shifts, and day or afternoon coverage.

You will deliver high-quality customer support, helping external stakeholders find parts and advise on the best fit to meet requirements. You will assist in warehousing tasks, stock takes, dispatching parts, and ongoing improvements in the parts department.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence desirable.
• Experience in warehousing and familiarity with CAT products desirable.
• Interest in mechanical and industrial products desirable.
• Strong customer service skills and dedication to customer service.
• Intermediate computer literacy – MS Office & internet-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift to perform duties such as loading and unloading.
• Act as the first point of contact for inbound call management and customers ordering parts.
• Interpret parts to understand what will suit the customer's needs.
• Engage with customers to ensure enquiries and post‑purchase needs are met.
• Participate in regular stocktakes.
• Assist in general warehousing duties including picking, packing and dispatching parts.

Job description

WesTrac is seeking a Parts Representative to join their team on a fulltime basis at our Tamworth branch. The successful candidate will work a 10.5-hour shift on a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional Saturday shifts, and is available on either day shift or afternoon shift.

The Parts Representative will provide high-quality customer support, including helpful advisory services to external stakeholders. This role will require the drive to fulfil customer requirements in a timely manner, whilst operating in a fast-paced position. The successful candidate will support efficient and effective operation of the parts department through functions such as general warehousing, dispatching of parts, stocktaking, housekeeping and identification of continuous improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the forklift to perform duties such as loading and unloading

Act as the first point of contact for inbound call management and customers ordering parts

Interpret parts to understand what will suit the customer's needs

Engage with customers to ensure enquiries and their post purchase needs are met

Participate in regular stocktakes

Assist in general warehousing duties including picking, packing and dispatching parts

Skills and Experience

Forklift and drivers licence C desirable

Experience in warehousing & familiarity with CAT products desirable
