Job summary

QT Gold Coast is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive rooms, conferencing and events revenue through proactive sales, new business development and strong client relationships.

You will generate new business through calls, site inspections and networking, manage a robust C&E pipeline, respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and host client site visits. Join a playful, design-focused hotel group and grow your career across EVT’s hotel and entertainment network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel, conferencing or events sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Great organisation and time management.
• A team player mindset with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive sales calls, site inspections and networking.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of C&E leads and opportunities.
• Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and issue contracts.
• Host clients and conduct site inspections to secure business.
• Grow and retain key accounts through great service and regular contact.
• Represent QT Gold Coast at industry and networking events.
• Keep CRM records and reporting accurate and up to date.
• Liaise closely with the Director of Sales, C&E Manager and wider hotel team.
