Job summary

QT Gold Coast is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive rooms, conferencing and events revenue through proactive sales, new business development and building strong client relationships.

You will generate new business with site inspections, respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and manage a robust CRM pipeline while collaborating with the sales director and hotel team to secure repeat business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel, conferencing or events sales.
• Proactive approach to new business development.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive sales calls, site inspections and networking.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of C&E leads and opportunities.
• Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and issue contracts.
• Host clients and conduct site inspections to secure business.
• Grow and retain key accounts through great service and regular contact.
• Represent QT Gold Coast at industry and networking events.
• Keep CRM records and reporting accurate and up to date.
• Liaise closely with the Director of Sales, C&E Manager and wider hotel team.
